What’s New
KYB: Companies House Integration
Partners verifying UK companies can now order Companies House reports directly through iDenfy, without going through a paid intermediary.- Reports appear in the KYB dashboard under Ordered Reports
- Can be triggered manually or via automation rules
- Reduces the cost of UK company verification and aligns with how other government registry reports work on the platform
IDV: Custom Redirect URL for iFrame Partners
Partners embedding the verification flow inside an iFrame can now configure a custom redirect URL that replaces the default iDenfy domain shown after QR code scans. This resolves a trust concern raised by some partners — particularly financial institutions — where users would land on an unfamiliar iDenfy-branded URL after scanning a QR code mid-session.- Configurable under Settings → Configuration → “Redirect URL for KYC verification”
- Requires a
{{token_string}}placeholder in the URL - Works outside of iFrame setups as well — any partner using direct processing can benefit
- Default behavior is unchanged if no custom URL is set
IDV: Flow Improvements
Switch to Mobile
The path for users switching from desktop to mobile during a verification session has been simplified.- Previously buried inside an “Alternative Methods” modal — now a prominent “Switch to mobile” button visible throughout the desktop flow
- Takes users directly to the handoff screen with a QR code, SMS link, and app option
- On capture and document selection screens, it appears as a secondary “Continue on phone” button
- The language switcher and back navigation have been repositioned to standard locations (top-right and top-left) to free up space for the primary action
Session Continuation Across Devices
When a user starts a verification on one device and switches to another mid-flow, the session now resumes from where they left off instead of restarting.- Steps already completed (such as document front/back scans) are skipped automatically
Mobile Verification Page Redesign
The mobile verification UI has been updated to make better use of screen space on small devices.- The card wrapper — a white container that previously framed all page content — has been removed
- Content now fills the screen naturally
- The primary call-to-action button is now sticky, remaining visible at the bottom of the screen regardless of scroll position
Mobile Device Handoff Screen
The device handoff screen — shown when a user clicks “Switch to mobile” — now renders a fully optimized mobile layout when opened on a phone browser.- Displays the session code with a one-tap copy button, making it easy for users to open the verification in the iDenfy app
Business Verification: Flow Improvements
KYB: Clearer Form Validation Feedback
The KYB verification form now provides clearer guidance when required fields are left empty.- Previously, incomplete forms silently disabled the “Continue” button
- Now, submitting an incomplete form highlights all missing fields, scrolls to the first one, and shows a clear prompt
- Reduces drop-off caused by users not knowing why they couldn’t proceed
