IDV: New Digital ID Support

Customers can now verify using three additional digital ID types: Austrian Handy Signatur, Freja eID, and Mobile ID.
  • Austrian Handy Signatur — Austria’s national mobile-based digital signature and identity scheme, enabling seamless verification for Austrian users through their registered mobile phone number and PIN
  • Freja eID — a Nordic eID issued by Verisec, used across Sweden and Norway as a qualified electronic identity at Substantial assurance level
  • Mobile ID — a SIM-card-based PKI authentication method widely used in the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), allowing users to authenticate with a mobile PIN without a separate app
These additions extend iDenfy’s digital ID coverage to new regions and complement the existing lineup of national eID integrations. Customers targeting Austrian, Nordic, or Baltic markets can now offer a fully native digital ID verification path without requiring physical document capture. To enable any of these methods, go to Settings → Document and Identity Verification and add the relevant digital ID type to your accepted methods.

PAYG: Delete Bank Card

Users on Pay-As-You-Go plans can now remove their saved bank card details directly from the dashboard, without contacting support. The option is available under Settings → Business settings → Plan → Payment Details. See Subscription Management for step-by-step instructions.

IDV: Auto Document Type Detection for Direct Processing

The Direct Processing flow now automatically detects the document type from the submitted FRONT image — no manual documentType selection required. Previously, partners using direct processing had to explicitly specify documentType in every request (ID_CARD, PASSPORT, etc.). The field is now optional: when omitted, the system infers the document type automatically. If detection fails, the request is rejected with an error so no silent misclassification occurs. Explicitly providing documentType still works and remains recommended when the document type is known in advance.

AI Reviewer: Skip Functionality

Data comparison steps can now be configured to skip when an entity is identified but not found in the data source, rather than counting the absence of a record as a failure. Previously, if an individual shareholder was present on a case but couldn’t be matched in the selected data source, the AI Reviewer had no option other than to treat that as an unaccepted outcome — potentially flagging or denying a case for a reason unrelated to actual risk. Each data comparison step now includes an Outcome field: “If [entity] is not found in data source, consider task outcome as…” — with Skip available as an option. Note: if the entity type isn’t present on the case at all (e.g. no shareholders identified), the step is skipped automatically regardless of this setting. See AI Reviewer for configuration details.

IDV: Switch to Mobile Reliability Improvements

Following the Switch to Mobile redesign in Sprint 125, this sprint delivers a set of stability and reliability fixes to the desktop-to-mobile handoff flow:
  • Session continuity — cross-device session resumption is now more reliable. Users who switch from desktop to mobile mid-flow consistently resume from where they left off, with completed steps correctly skipped.
  • Back camera — the back camera is now correctly activated when the mobile session opens for document capture, resolving cases where the front camera was used instead.
  • Layout fixes — several layout issues on the handoff and mobile verification screens have been resolved, improving visual consistency across device sizes.
