What’s New

Brazil Digital CNH Support

Identity verification now accepts Brazil’s Digital CNH (Carteira digital de trânsito) as a supported Digital ID type. The Digital CNH is Brazil’s government-issued digital driver’s license, accessed via a mobile app. It is now available alongside the existing Brazil CPF check in Document & Identity Verification settings and is listed in the full Supported Documents reference.

KYB “Verify Later” — Automated IDV Reminders

Business verification flows that include an identity verification step now support automatic reminder emails for end users who deferred their IDV by choosing “Verify Later”. Partners configure the reminders when creating a KYB session. You can select one or more reminder intervals — ranging from 1 hour to 21 days after the user defers: Only intervals shorter than the session validity period are available for selection. Reminders are sent only if the user has not yet completed IDV by the scheduled time — they are cancelled automatically once the user finishes verification. If a KYB case is denied, no further reminders are sent. Reminder intervals are configured in the Identity Verification in Workflows modal under the IDV Completion Reminder section.

Improvements

KYB AI Reviewer — Company Name Spelling Variations

The AI Reviewer’s company name comparison now returns Full match for differences that are clearly formatting or spelling variations of the same name, rather than flagging them as Partial match. Cases now treated as a full match include:
  • Upper/lower case differences
  • Special-character equivalents (e.g. Müller = Mueller = Muller, Žemyna = Zemyna)
  • Legal-form abbreviation variants (e.g. Ltd. = Limited, GmbH = Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung)
  • Punctuation and special symbols
  • ”&” versus “and”
  • Extra, leading, or trailing whitespace
  • Different positions of the legal form within the name
Swapped word order (without the legal form) still produces a Partial match, as this may indicate a different entity. The updated logic also applies to beneficiary name and surname fields. See AI Reviewer for KYB for how the reviewer evaluates checks.
When a source link in the AML check Person Evidence section is no longer accessible, reviewers now see a View PDF button alongside the entry. Clicking it opens a PDF of the source record in a new browser tab, so the underlying information remains reachable even when the original URL does not resolve. The button is shown only when a PDF is available for that record.
