Bank Card Verification — Standalone Flow

Compliance preparations are being finalised to bring Bank Card Verification to partners as a standalone product — a verification flow that runs independently of an identity verification session, with custom redirect handling once the check completes. Bank Card Verification is available today as an additional step inside the IDV flow — see Bank Card Verification. If you’re interested in offering the standalone flow to your users, reach out to your account manager to learn more.

What’s New

Age Estimation

Age Estimation is now available in the dashboard. It’s a standalone, selfie-first product with its own sessions, billing, and webhook, estimating a person’s age from a selfie without requiring a document scan. A new Age estimation section appears in the dashboard navigation, listing every session with its status, session ID, creation date, and estimated age. Sessions can be searched by session ID or client reference, filtered by client and creation date, and opened to review the result — status, estimated age, and outcome — alongside the settings the session was created with and the analysed selfie, when photo saving was enabled. Create new opens the session creation page, where you set the minimum age, the safety margin, whether an uncertain result should step up to a document check, the retry limit, whether to keep the selfie, and how long the link stays valid — plus success, underage, and uncertain redirect URLs and a webhook URL. Generating the session returns a verification link you can pass to the person being checked. Visibility is controlled by the View age estimation data permission, enabled for all partners by default. See the Age Estimation Overview guide, or Create a Session to create sessions from your own backend.

KYB: Spanish Language Support

Business verification is now available in Spanish, so partners can offer a localized experience to Spanish-speaking end users. Add Spanish under KYB locales in User Interface settings, then select it when creating or editing a KYB workflow. Once enabled, end users can pick Spanish from the language switcher, and it applies to the questionnaire as well. See Business Verification (KYB) Languages for the full list.

KYB API: Risk Assessment Results

Company verification API responses now include risk assessment results, so partners who run the KYB process entirely on their own side can retrieve risk scoring programmatically instead of opening the dashboard. GET /kyb/companies/{id} now returns a riskAssessment object with the overall riskScore (0–100), the resulting riskLevel, and any reviewer comment. See Managing Company for the response and Get Risk Assessment Results for how the score is produced.

Improvements

Dedicated Accounting Email

Pay-As-You-Go partners can now set a separate accounting email address, so billing and invoice communications reach the right inbox instead of the main contact. Add it under Settings → Company details → General information. The field is optional — leave it empty and billing documents keep going to your contact email exactly as before. Only invoices and payment receipts are redirected; notification emails and other system messages are unaffected. See Invoices.

Proof of Address: Fully Automated Processing

Proof-of-address documents are now processed automatically in every case, removing an extra manual review step from the verification process. If a document can’t be read, the system retries and then flags a mismatch on the verification, rather than routing it to a reviewer. The proof-of-address information returned to partners is unchanged. See Proof of Address Verification.

Language Follows Users Across Devices

The language a user selects during identity verification is now preserved for the rest of the session, including when they continue on a different device — for example after scanning the QR code or opening a link sent by SMS. Previously the second device opened in the default language and the user had to choose again. The selection now carries over regardless of the locale passed when the session was created. See Configuration for the device switch settings.

Localized Error Messages

End users now see more identity verification error messages in their selected language, instead of some messages falling back to English. See User Feedback and Messages for the messages shown during verification.

Longer Company Names Supported

The maximum company name length is now 200 characters across business verification and AML checks. Previously the two limits differed, so a company created in KYB with a long name could not be submitted for an AML check at all. Both surfaces now accept up to 200 characters. See Create AML Profile.

Logout from Expired Accounts

Pay-As-You-Go users whose account has expired can now log out directly from the expired-account screen and sign in to a different account, instead of having to clear their browser cookies. See Subscription Management.
